Loughery is extremely proud of the iconic award winning Mural Projects she has been lead artist and project manager on. Her vision of a connected “DESTINATION MURAL TOWN” global mural trail has been a passionate vision that Loughery has championed for more than 20 years. As a pioneer in the Mural Movement globally, Loughery was pivotal to the success of Mural Tourism today.
Of the hundreds of murals she has created, and the truly iconic projects, the thousands of youth that were part of her projects, is something Loughery takes the most pride in. The innovative Wayfinder ARTworks employment program and the Wayfinder Creative community social economic infrastructure strategies has left a ripple effect that has far reaching success in the mural movement of today. Loughery’s WAYFINDER murals are talking walls, stories told in paint, with every brush stroke a part of a conversation between all members of the community.
